Farrington Press is pleased to announce a new edition created in collaboration with Bronx-based artist Kenny Rivero and Charles Moffett Gallery. The edition features two multi-plate etchings—I’m Missing and Portrait As a Self—each incorporating hand-applied pochoir elements. Rivero visited Farrington Press to create his first-ever aquatint etchings. The project emerged from an exploratory series of monoprints, through which he tested motifs, colors, and technical approaches before translating these discoveries into the final plates. Rivero’s approach to printmaking mirrors his background as a trained musician—improvisational, rhythmic, and layered. He builds imagery and texture gradually, blending visual fragments until the composition resolves. His signature symbolism—fire, veils, silhouettes—creates a visual vocabulary that feels both familiar and mysterious, all while maintaining a playful sense of humor. The resulting edition is a distinctive exploration of imagery and process, and we are thrilled to share it with our community of collectors and print enthusiasts.
